It's beautiful! And I love your backgrounds!! (esp. the hand of
Fatima one) Just one picky thing...on the home page, I have trouble
reading the text that's in black -- blends in with the darker
background -- would be more readable in a lighter color text.
Your mission statement is very thoughtful and inspiring.
And I, too, would love to read some of your essays -- esp. on henna
and feminism. One of the Indian graduate students in our department
glanced at my pile of Navneet books on my desk, pointed at a title in
Hindi and said, "That word just makes me angry, that is why I do not
like the mehendi." She had a hard time explaining the precise meaning
of the word, but said that it described how women should be and she
definitely was not ever going to be like that!
