I was going to suggest the same thing. I usually wear a thin rubber
glove over the cotton...it is impermeable enough to keep the heat in
but I leave it open around my wrist to leet it breathe a little and
void the gooey mess. Or I just wear a cotton glove or sock to
bed...it's a little less creepy feeling that the rubber glove (which
give my hubby nightmares if it touches him while he's sleeping!)
