You can make simple cotton bags: two pieces cotton fabric of the same
size. Sew a regular seam all the way around, but leave a hole large
enough for a funnel to fit. Turn the bag inside out so all the seams
are inside. Use funnel to fill with uncooked rice or flaxseeds. (You
can put herbs and spices in with the seeds for a wonderful scent) Do
not fill completely-- so you have some room for flexibility to fit.
Sew up the hole, and there you have it! Microwave for about 2-3
minutes and it stays warm for quite awhile depending on size.

FOr people with no time, inclination, etc....fill a cotton sock with
flaxseeds or rice and knot at the end.

Do not overheat in the microwave...the seeds will get hot enough to
set your warmer on fire (experience speaking...)
