I was given that same kit as a gift after i already had quite a bit of experience with mixing my own henna. I found that the henna in the kit needed a LOT of sifting due to many fairly large twigs left in the powder which clogged the cone tip. (The directions in the book didn't tell me this though, which I believe would be very discouraging for a first timer.)I also don't think i would recommend using the oil they give you, it smells like kerosene or something. All in all I thought the kit could have been done better. Definately use Catherine's recipe. Then get some really good henna powder and you will see the difference. Good luck. : I just got from one o my cousins a almost fully loded henna art kit : from Aileen Marron but it didn't bring the book and I can't use it : well I don't know how I have the powder, catalyst solution, Malabiya : oil, and the sheets but no instrucion book so I don' know what to mix : or how to apply. It someone please help before I make a big mistake!
