To tell you the truth, I don't use stencils, but I am Nail Technician and when applying sculptured nails, I have to use a form that sticks to the clients nail. Sometimes the sticky stuff stays on the skin. I use acetone to remove it. It is a harsh chemical, but so is the sculptured nail. If worse comes to worse you can try it.

GOOD LUCK and hopefully somebody else here will have a better suggestion!
