Red highlights?

I have some OLD, already mixed CastleArt henna floating around in my freezer. It's Catherine's mehandi.com recipe (henna, lime juice and a touch of tea) and I bought the powder in December. Yeah, I know, time to call Amy again... :) Anyway, my hair is brown with natural (and rather inconspicuous) copperish highlights. I'd love to use up this old cone to highlight the highlights, so to speak. I know I should use hairbrush fluff as a test sample before I goo up my whole head, but I really want to see if I can get reddish highlights out of this. Not totally flaming, just a little redder than it is now... make sense? :) I need to know the procedure for using henna on your hair, what kind of mixture you should use, how much, etc. etc. - and whether or not I can use up the remnants, or if I should go buy some more CastleArt. Natasha? Catherine? Anyone have a hair rant suitable for email? Thanks :)
