Someone came up with the M*A*T*H acronym as a mnemonic for great color. Moisture, Acidity, Time and Heat. (apologies to the original author - if you are she, please let me know so I can credit ya!) Moisture after application, acid in the paste, time on your skin, heat under wraps. Of course you need good powder to start with, but it seems that recipes using a lot of citrus juice seem to be everyone's favorite... clove is good as well... but clove oil is concentrated and some people are allergic. Kenzi of this forum has her recipes marked out in quantity format (e.g. tablespoon of this, 1/2 cup of that) and I agree it is SO convenient!
