Traveling with henna....

I'm going on a week long trip to Denver starting tomorrow. I wanted to have my hands and feet hennaed for the weekend part of the trip, however my contact solutions tend to eat and fade my henna really quickly. I plan on taking some of my henna suplies with me for touch ups but I'm not too certain how well it will all travel and better yet how difficult it will be to mix up the past when bouncing from hotel to hotel. Any suggestions from those who have done the henna on the road bit???
