I used the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures published out of New York, NY. :) You information is very interesting as well. It interests me that the early Israelites would be 'uncomfortable' with it. Part of the Mosaic Law recorded at Leviticus 19:28 states: "You must not make cuts in your flesh for a deceased soul, and you must not put tattoo marking upon yourselves. I am Jehovah." This was stated right after the laws regarding abstaining from blood and things strangled, and the unlawful practicing of oems and magic.
