I think part of the answer depends on what you're looking for from
the henna. I've used Shelly premixed paste, and it generally doesn't
get too dark and it doesn't last very long - a week, if I'm lucky.
It also doesn't keep well once you open the tube.
I agree with Catherine that the henna you mix yourself is much
better, especially if you want the design to last.
Castle Art is a great place to get henna powder, and Amy is a great
person. She also sells the Shelly paste, I believe.
