Instant hennatonic acid

Well, had an Idea last night. I put abt. 3 tablespoons of henna siftings (I save them :-) in some water, added mustard, and shook. Well, the henna settled, and the liquid was red. I figure that I leached the color out of the henna. I wonder if this would make a difference in the stain color when mixed into the paste. Hmmm... I'll let you know how it works.
