Storing Henna Powder

Hi everybody,

I've been doing henna art for a while, using powder one of my well-travelled aunts would bring me from India. Well, she no longer makes frequent trips there (drat!), and on her final trip brought me back a fairly sizable amount of powder. Does anyone know any good tricks as far as storing this stuff? Darkness, tightly sealed containers, gypsy incantations? It's hard to get decent henna in my area, so I'd like to keep this stuff potent for as long as possible!
