Clothing optional at Brushwood has NOTHING to do with sexuality. It has everything to do with whether or not you are in the shower, or are very hot, or really like the sunshine. However, many people are very uncomfortable with nudity except behind closed doors. I respect people's feelings, and I would NEVER challenge the legal right of a parent to choose the appropriateness of a situation for their child. Your parents have every legal right and responsibility to choose the correctness of a situation for you. At 18, you will be welcome to come to Brushwood by yourself! Until then .... it is your parent's job to accompany you to Brushwood and decide if you should be there, like any other campground anywhere! Also .... if your mother would be interested in bringing you to a winter festival, when it's too cold for anyone to want to enjoy the sunshine, have a look at the link below.
