Generally speaking, Navaid's pastes don't seem to have any harm in them. If they're using the synthetic food dyes, as I believe they are, the only harm would be for people who have allergies to those dyes. If the tubes had the USDA #'s of those dyes, that would be very helpful. Allergies to food dyes are NOT UNCOMMON! I don't know if these pastes would trigger an allergic reaction. Navaid sent me a package of samples about a year ago .... I tried them, but I absolutely did not like them. Poor stain, terrible texture, impossible tubes, caps that did not fit. Everything that the paste touched was permanently stained EXCEPT for my skin (clothing, linoleum, sinks....everything.) I didn't want to say much about it on the forum, because I felt the product could be improved, AND because I wanted to respect the "TRADITIONAL HENNA ONLY" policy on Henna Page Forum! I hope the product has been improved since I tried it. I hope people have fun with it. I hope the discussion of "colored henna" goes back to one of the "colored henna forums".
