I am in Long Beach CA, which is about 2 hours north of San Diego
(not as far as it sounds) but I visit down there several times a year
because I love the Zoo, Wild Animal Park, and Sea World. San Diego is
gorgeous, the people seem nice, and there is a ton of stuff to do -
museums, dancing, theatre, Mexico is close, and of course there is the
beach! I must confess, I often wish I could meet folks from this forum
(and I am too poor to go to Sirius)--it would be wonderful to meet you!
I once moved all the way from the west coast to the southern east
coast, and it was pretty weird not knowing anyone except my then-
husband (or my "Wusband" as I like to refer to him now). It was a whole
different world! I am sure you will like San Diego a lot more than I
liked Hinesville Georgia! Please feel free to email me as your move
date gets closer if you need anything ( a local newspaper, maybe?).
Welcome to sunny Southern California, Natasha, where the henna season
is 8 months long!
