Jeremy if you ever get up the energy to do an FAQ (or anyone else for that matter) y'all should address this question. Firstly I have to say, this is one of those things that annoys me a bit, are the artists not telling their clients how long a henna stain lasts? Are people just not listening? Two weeks means two weeks. It doesn't mean hopefully 2 days so my mother/boss/student/SO doesn't notice. You went out and got the thing, now you may have to live with it. But that's just my opinion. Barring that, there are several ways you can reduce the appearance of your stain. I fully admit to using these techniques when I've cocked up a design and it looks like heck. To remove the design you have to remove the skin. Depending on how much you care about your skin, you can use the gentlest or the harshest method. Almost all of them will irritate your skin to some degree. *Soak part in peroxide. *Soak part in a solution of 1 tbsp bleach to 1 cup of water. If you have even the tiniest paper cut this will hurt like hell and leave the part feeling like a crocodile's hide. *Apply cream with Alpha Hydroxy acids. *Exfoliate the part with cream scrubs or loofahs. *Do a big round of dishes. *Go swimming. *Apply callous remover cream (available in the foot section of the drug store). This will take MANY applications so set aside a few hours. Anyone else have any ideas?
