I aggree with several of the points you addressed, I like being able to get a consistent line and I did not have any trouble gettting my paste to flow through my bottle. I have yet to do any long winded henna sessions, but in my short experience, I found it very difficult to use the bag I tried the other night. I ended up with a sore crampy tired hand after what would normally have given me no trouble with my bottle. I did realize after seeing Catherine's pics that I was holding it differently than she held hers, I was still holding it like I hold the bottle and that may have been why I had so much trouble. I will probably try it again to give it a fair chance, but I did manage to find a great set of bottles and tips that would not only work with the bottles provided but would also adapt to other bottles. it came with 4 slightly different size tips and 3 tops and 2 bottles. it was designed for fabric painting. I have not quite given up on the bag, but so far I am not giving up the bottle either. : I'll start the ball rolling by saying that I'm now using the three- : tipped applicator available from Body Art Supply. I've no idea : whether any other vendor carries this item, but I find it invaluable : to be able to change tip diameter at will, and to unscrew the tip to : remove the odd boulder when it clogs. : Disadvantages? It needs refilling pretty regularly, so you end up : with quite a lot of spare henna left - you can't really use a half- : empty bottle too well. Oh, and it does clog regularly on anything : other than perfectly sifted henna. You can't just push the lump : through like you can with a plastic cone. : But, the fact that I can get a smoother line than I can with a cone : makes it worth it for me.
