I use one heaping tablespoonful in my bags, and twist the end down so
that it almost looks like a hair-bun. Sometimes I cut off a few
inches of bag before twisting just to make it more manageable. I keep
twisting the top as the level of paste drops to maintain pressure from
the top --keep it in place with a twist-tie. Works for me, but it took
a little time to get used to keeping the top twisted and holding the
bag correctly.
If you squish the bag in the middle, you risk the paste sneaking out
the top.
