: I have a question, how do you hold the bag and how much do you put : into it before you begin??? I think I was doing it COMPLETLY wrong :( To put henna in the bag, hold empty bag, point down in your hand. Fold over most of the top, so you don't have to work the spoon so far in. Then put in 2-3 heaping teaspoons henna paste, and unfold the bag back to normal. Seems the more henna I have in th bag, the less pressure I need to get it t oflow. Crimp the bag with a twist tie, and fold over the remainder a few times and secure with a paper clip. Keep working the twist tie down if the bag starts to feel flat. To apply, you can hold it like a really fat pencil, about 1-1.5 inches from the inside edge of the coupler (the plastic part you st into the bag that the tips attach to), or you can hold the whole thing in your palm-this way looks kind of like you are milking a cow.
