: This is very very peculiar if it is truely natural henna! Please tell : us where you got this henna, tell us if there was an oil that you : mixed with it ..... these are very important to know! Supplier, : ingredient list or lack thereof, country of origin would really help. : I've only seen one person in 10 years of hennaeing who actually had : a reaction to natural henna, and that was very, very mild. : However, there are all sorts of dodgy oils, nasty additives, even : truely evil shit being sold as "Natural henna" .... please tell where : you got this product, and exactly how you prepared it! : We can help other people not get hurt if we know where bogus product : is coming from, or whether it's just a really unusual reaction. There is also the question of what some products/stores call "natural". Like you say, it may have some kind of essential oil which is completely natural, but one person in 1000 may have an allergic reaction to it. Also, it is possible to try different brands of an essential oil and have different reactions. And, believe it or not, some people lie! They say it's natural or pure, and it isn't. A health food store here in NYC used to sell regular veggies labelled as "organic" at organic veggie prices...they finally got caught, but all they did was change the sign to say "natural" and continued to charge organic prices! Karma works: they went out of business and were replaced with a Banana Repulic, which isn't much better!
