It may or may not be a Jewish wedding - the costumes are very
similar. I've shown off the Moroccan wedding pictures I have to
Sephardic friends here in Seattle and they were amazed because they
thought the pictures were Jewish. Both use a similar gold paper or
gold foil crown with a veil - both brides are carried out on
shoulders or on big pillow like things. And both Jewish and Arab
brides change clothes a zillion times over the course of their
wedding day!
I wish I could post my pictures on the forum but haven't received
permission from the brides to do that. However, if anyone wants to
me to email them, I'll send them a private email copy of my pictures
for your perusal only.
