:Dear Carrie , Thank you for shareing your great trick .It is those things that seem obvious in hindsight that are so valuable -like CLOSER to the extremity ! Theadora : Dear Carrie, : : Thnks for the follow up stamp info I cant wait to try it. But whats : : the rubber band trick. I take it you put a rubber band around the : : wrist. Is this so you can have a guide to mark with pen or do you : : leave it to make an impression on the skin. What a cleaver thing .I : : must have missed this one before. Please let me know any helpful : hints : : so I dont cut off anyones circulation! : : Thanks, : : theadora : Take the rubber band and put it around the wrist or ankle, about 1/4 : inch CLOSER to the end of the extremity than where you want the : design. I will either do a row of henna dots around the wrist/ankle, : or if the band isn't too tight, I might leave it on until I'm done : with the whole thing. If the band is closer to the fingers or toes : than the henna design, you just pull it off. If you make a mistake : like I did the first time and put the band higher on the arm, you'll : have a real fun time trying to get it off over the wet henna paste. : This can be done with little teeny bands on the fingers as well, : though truly it is not near so difficult to get rings to line up : correctly, except maybe around the thumb. : Carrie
