Store the extra immediately in your freezer in some way that no air touches the henna paste. Freeze it IN the cones or such. You can keep it in reasonable shape for a while, but not forever. Henna paste reacts with the air and degrades pretty quickly. If you teach frequently, leftover paste is fine for first time students. When you're mixing, try one heaping tablespoon of henna powder per 2 hours of fineline hennaeing. 100 grams mixed is WAY enough for a full day's gig. If you are working during a VERY hot day, your henna paste can reach dye release in just a few hours, so consider mixing up fresh a few times during the day. You can jumpstart a batch by leaving the mix in your car with the windows rolled up. If you frequently have leftover maxed out henna, stockpile it in the freezer in a big plastic bowl with a snaplid, and use it to henna your hair once a month.
