I don't like using an ink pen to draw on my skin. You don't really know what they put in those things. I use an eyeliner to mark any complicated sections of the design - it doesn't interfere with the henna uptake and it doesn't hurt your clients. I mostly use Q-Tips to correct mistakes. You can even pull off the cotton end of the tip, you will have a little stick to pick up any mistakes or clean up the edge of a line. You will have a minute or two to clean up your mistakes before they become really noticeable, but don't leave them for too long. As for Avery labels I worry about the "juice" of the henna seeping into the paper and blurring your design. You would need something plastic-backed to seal your skin and keep the design crisp.
