: I was wondering if anybody knows how to do hair threading where a cotton thread is used to pluck hairs. The technique sounds fascinating and I would like to learn how to do it. And also where it originated. : The first time I heard of it was at the Zima Beauty Salon website. I went to Zima a few times to have it done and though it can sting alittle it really works well for me. They basically twist a long folded in half cotton thread real tight between their two hands, lay it against the skin where the hair you want removed is and then roll the twist up and down catching the hair and plucking it out. Much faster than plucking one by one. You are done in no time and it only cost $6 for eyebrows. Look for a Indian center near you and ask around. I know that they train at Zima's but don't know where you live. Good luck.
