Wiping out Black HennaPosted by Kenzi on June 30, 2000 at 17:43:09: I just finished hennaing over a client's faded black henna that she got in Egypt. She was open to using natural, real henna and I believe that she will fall in love with the color and never go b(l)ack again. Now I am wondering if that was such a wise idea to henna over black henna, following the same design? I would assume not but I was wondering if any of you had experience with this. I asked her what was in the paste and she didn't know. She said it was black, about the same consistency of what I was applying to her and the guy applied it with a toothpick which he dipped in the paste and painted on. They didn't even give her the option of regular henna, like they do in Morocco. The stain had faded to a kind of graying purple.
