Maybe its iodine? I don't know that much about iodine (just that it
stains potatoes black -- in which case potatoes have got black stains
made!). But I know that there are some fish or crustaceans that are
high in iodine (that's why some people are allergic to them; ah,
funny how it comes back to allergies...).
