When I was teaching near Toronto in June, many people remembered this
happened last summer, but I couldn't get precise details. Wish I
could! They said there were newspaper articles, and that the tattoo
parlor that had several tables black-hennaeing people was permamently
put out of business, and the city prohibited ppd black henna because
of it.
I know there was a lawsuit over ppd in Columbus, Ohio .. and a woman
(model)who is scarred for life with ppd black henna around her from a
hair salon , but I don't know how to get court or newspaper records on
that one either. I've just heard of the case several times, and the
reports are all very consistent.
