: : I just had a henna tattoo done in Mexico. It's a dark black color : and was applied with a bottle that had a tip like a ball point pen. : After it dried, there was nothing to flake off. It look pretty good : after a week. Now I'm wondering what I actually got. Does anyone : have any info on this kind of tattoo? Is it henna or something else? : This wasn´t henna, you got!!!! : I think you got a "body painting!.Or the artist worked with tattoo : ink. : But I heard also, that the black death past is mixed very thin and is : left on the skin. : Next time ask the artist whats in the past!!!!!! : IF this past was mixed with henna, harmfull PPD´s were in the : past!!!!!!!! : See the warnings at the forum. : Erfan YIKES. I didn't ask questions because of the language barrier but assumed because it said "henna" it was safe. DUMB! Is there anywhere to get more extensive information on PPD's? I checked the forum and black henna warning page. Are health risks from PPD's cumulative or from a single exposure? Now that we're back from Mexico, almost a week after the tattoo, I have pneumonia and wonder if this repiratory infection is related? My son also got a "henna" tattoo. He seems fine but now I'm worried.
