are some of my favorite recipes, I am getting hungry just writing these
out. The banana recipe is heavenly.....
Flavia, Henna Caravan
Spiced Pecans For starters, you can never go wrong with pecans, easy finger food to eat while you henna and keep up your strength.
Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt
and set aside
Beat egg white and add pecans and stir Add sugar mixture and mix and spread in single layer on baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes cool in single layer on waxed paper Calendula Rice This is a family favorite - it is great for any meal
Simmer 45 minutes or until liquid
is absorbed.
Sweet Flower Confetti Butter This beautiful butter is pretty and very tasty, the flowers are full of good stuff for you.
Combine greens with roses and
mint and toss cover and chill
Combine orange juice, zest, lemon juice, sugar , cinnamon and oil.(set aside) Peel and lice oranges place on the greens and to top with nuts. Drizzle orange juice over the top just before szerving. Serve with raspberry or cinnamon vinagrette Vinaigrette for the Moroccan Rose Salad 1/3 cup vinegar(raspberry or cinnamon or orange or ?) 3 T fresh orange juice 1T orange and lemon zest 1 T grated fresh ginger 2/3 cup canola oil 2 t sugar 1/2 t salt blend and serve over the rose petal salad Red Bananas with Cardamom This dish is so tasty, you may find yourself licking the pan, The mix of lime and sugar and cardamom are unbelievable taste sensations with the banana and the ice cream.
Peel the bananas and cut
lengthwise.
Melt butter in skiller over med heat, add brown sugar, cook till disolved, stirring all the time Add bananas and remaining ingredients (except ice cream) and simmer 3-5 minutes. Divide into 4 portions, saving the largest for yourself. |
