If I had to take a guess check the following variables:
1.Is your henna fresh? If this is a new problem maybe it's a bad batch
2.Are you using fresh lemon juice in the mix? Bottled really doesn't
work well
3. Is your home air conditioned? When I try to henna in my home with
air conditioning on I get a horrible stain.
4. Is your paste liquidy enough? When I first started making my own
paste I wasn't making it with enough liquid, so it dried too quickly
and I got a bad stain. Think yogurt for consistency.
5. If you don't like New skin or lemon/sugar try the peel off facial
masks. It's sticky and will dry to a smooth covering, isn't stinky and
it's easy to use.
All my other suggestions I can think of have been wonderfully
suggested already.
