how do you get the tiny lines?

I got some carrot bags and I found that it was difficult to use. Thebiggest problem was that I couldn’t get the tiny lines. The paste
was left very thin and I sniped out a tiny little hole but it
wouldn’t come out. For some reason it was okay when I made the paste
thicker but then it was hard to control the flow and I got a lot of
little squiggles.
