When I repeated this to the lady that taught me she strongly advised against it as it is toxic to the skin, so I wonder if ink jet is also toxic? In England you used to be able to get hold of paper just for making transers - it's called Thermal Type D, it works just like carbon paper. Good luck! Lynn I know this question has come up many times in the forum, but I keep : forgetting what the suggestions are. I am not the best artist - : admittedly, I am rather poor. I would like to do some more intricate : designs and following a transfer seems like a good idea. I know it's : not a very "pure" or traditional way of applying henna. But, does : anyone make their own transfers from designs in books? I heard : something about tracing on tracing paper with a ball-point pen? Does : that work? Any othe rmethods I could try? I have my Casle Art : henna, my carrot bags (never used them before, but willing to try) : and ready to have some henns on my body! : ) : : Many Thanks. : : Tracy
