I remember reading that hectograph pencils needed their own
sharpener, as in one used soley for that purpose and not carbon or
colored pencils.
When I had my hectograph pencil I bought an inexpensive battery
operated sharpener to use. It's small and handy and all I have to do
is pop the pencil in for a second or two and I was ready to go.
Still have the sharpener...can't find the dang pencil...lol.
