I am currently in Liverpool itself as a student but I graduate this
Summer and am still looking into getting work doing Henna over the
summer. For the past three years I have been working in Cornwall on
the beaches but last summer I got alot of hassle from the council
about working without a license (only because a local newsagent
complained I was stealing his trade - go figure), but when I enquired
into getting a license, they point blank refused to help, referring
me to a number of different departments until I was eventually
referred back to the first department I applied to.

Basically I was wondering if any UK artists out there can give me
some pointers on how to get work 'officially'. I've already got a few
jobs at local village fairs but obviously I want to get more work
but am not really sure how to go about it. Any feed back would be
great as I love working with henna and the possibility that I may end
up in a suit in an office over the summer brings me out in cold
sweats.
