Re: kit boxes + gorillasPosted by Julie on April 25, 2001 at 19:22:29: In reply to: kit boxes + last night posted by samantha on April 25, 2001 at 16:53:42: What do any of you: mobile artist use to carry your kit in? I keep my henna things in a transparent purple plastic tub with double handles that fold down. Bought at Target for about $8, it's about 8" x 12" x 8" high with a removable flat top I turn over and line with paper towels to make a work tray for bottles, cones, q- tips, etc. as I henna. It doesn't have the cachet of a KaliMa lunchbox (wish I had one too! :-) ), but I don't worry about spills or oozing. I was interested to read your comments about henna-ing on someone else and CCJ's "gorilla rant". So far, I've done little henna work on anyone besides myself and have felt resistant to quickly-picked $5 and $10 designs. Nothing at all wrong with folks who want them or artists who provide them, I just don't lean that direction now. Henna + grooming and endorphins not only makes sense, but gives me a new perspective from which to frame my Henna Frenzy. Thanks Catherine! Julie, whose keyboard seems to be not only dusty, but covered in a slightly brownish-red haze
