This was my formula...Posted by Komangetmy on May 1, 2001 at 00:53:30: In reply to: Loooots of questions.... posted by Komangetmy on May 1, 2001 at 00:02:16: ...maybe you can help me giving me some recipes... well, if they arenot professional secrets, of course... ;-) Mine was as follows: In a cup of water I put 1/2 spoon of instant cofee, the juice of a little lemon and a bit of sugar. I heated it till it boiled, and I verted it over a bag of tea. I left it 2 minutes and then I applied some drops of Mehlabilla oil. Every time I experimented with the damaged henna (for application training) I heated it again. So here comes the first question: What should be the proportion in which I must mix henna with solution? I mixed it not so liquid, but more solid. Does it have anything to see with the permeability capacities of the pigment??? And the second question: Should I always apply oil to the skin for the pigment to permeate? If I apply Henna without applying oil before does the henna show the same color??? If you can send me a mail, it will be welcome... Thanks... ;-)
