Too bad they will never really know what caused her death. Inotice they didn't say if it was anaphalaxis. That is the nasty allergic reaction where you swell, go into shock, and die. I have that type of reaction to many normal everyday things so I could see that someone could develope it to black henna. She had been exposed for 25 years. It could have been something else she ate or drank. We will never know. We need to contact the paper to point out the differences between henna(what they talked about in the article) and black henna(the hair dye she was using). It is another case of how bad black henna can be. Not how bad natural henna can be. I'll tell you a few of the things that would give me that kind of reaction: advil, asprin, aleve, iodine, orange juice, tagamet..... GEt the idea. It could be anything. Also dying from asthma is not all that uncommon. Maia
