I answered several : emails, but then I opened this particular one, and I have this awful : pain in my chest. Maybe I am just asking for more hurt feelings, but : I am also looking for a little support from fellow artists. Do you : guys ever get email like this? How do you handle it if you do? I : feel crushed, and I may be having a weak moment...who has extra time : to do this kind of thing? And why would they want to? Here is what : the email said: : : "Hi, I found ur website through a searchpage. I am actually looking : for henna desings. Now that I have seen ur page, I really believe : that I don't have to search any further. Thats because I can do : better. Ur page has given me the the strenth to believe that I can do : beatifull henna myself. I don't need websites like urs. U haven't : seen what henna can really do dear!! U haven't seen the world yet I : guess. Believe me, the designs on this website r nothing compaired to : that what I have seen and even designed!! pls leave henna excuse me, : MEHNDI in the hands of the experts. : Thank you." : : This person left their email address, I won't post it here..but why? : Do I ignore this? Respond and say what? Gee whiz...I could use some : feedback. Do I suck that badly? Thanks everyone. #1 I'd ignore it because the dimwit can't spell. #2 I work retail and deal with living breathing nasty trolls every single day for 8 hours.(pays the henna fix) Sometimes it's not worth it. (But yell at my employees and my claws come out sharp.)pick battles carefully, #3 a hug you deserve it #4 Are you going to doubt your ability because someone doesn't like your work? I don't think so! you are a good artist, you have lots of support here. #5 block their email address from emailing you almost any server that does email can do that for you. And that handy dandy delete key. #6 you have a whole lot of people here who will banish this nasty troll. Don't fret.... chin up and don't let one opinion spoil something you love to do. Bright Blessings, Christine :)
