I should add that while I'm interested in lots of different styles, I'm specifically looking for designs suitable for a bride...I have this friend who just got engaged and she's refusing to let me use the "I'm not good enough" excuse to get out of doing hers; she claims that I've got 1.5-2 years to practice and that it doesn't matter anyway because it'd mean a lot to her if I did it. Soooo...I gotta start practicing now. Many in her family will find the henna controversial enough; I don't want to make it worse by doing a lame job. I've suggested that she find a "pro" artist to do it, but she won't listen. I'm honored, but it still scares me witless to be doing a job as important as this. Those who have seen my site know that heretofore, I've just been playin' around, doing stuff for fun (all of the sessions, not just the one single session that some have problems with). But bridal henna? To respect the tradition and the wedding, it's gotta be more than just playin' around.
