As fortattoos, make sure it's really what you want. (did you know this is a henna discussion forum? if not, stick around...) Unforuntately I am very technologically challenged. So I will refer you to (gasp) a BOOK. It's called Celtic Art, the Methods of Construction by George Bain. It is hands down the bible of celtic artwork, alphabets, plants, animals, you name it. If you're artistically inclined, you can look at the different potted trees of life he has and make one up to fit the body part in question. If not, try to get the book or photocopy the pages with the trees of life and get your tattoo artist to do something you're happy with. The tree of life in that book, and the others I've seen, are growing out of something. Bain has them in nice decorated pots...check out the memorial piece for Willie Souter - that's what I use. Good luck Anne Beltestad Gilded Lilies Henna Arts Seattle WA : I am looking for an image of the tree of life where the branches are : not connected continuously to the roots for a tattoo-does anyone know : of good sites? Thank you!!!
