Henna Ink Mixture & Stamps

I recently came back from India with some wooden henna stamps and a
'henna ink' mixture. Does anyone know how I can make more of the
'ink'? It is red and stains (almost immediately) for about 3-4 days.
Is there a general mixture that can be used for stamps?
