Yes, I was thinking of you too, but I was away so I didn't pick up
your phone message till late last night.

Things will get much easier from here on in. There's nothing like
doing events yourself to learn how better to do the next one. Mixing
up too much henna is an occupational hazard - infinitely preferable
to mixing up too little.

I do freeze henna, but only for subsequent use on Fiona's hair. I
believe Catherine does the same. However, plenty of people seem to
freeze it for subsequent use on skin. Just be sure to defrost a
portion long enough before an event to test whether it is still any
good!
