They don't have any heating property as far as I can feel.... tingly,sometimes, but not heating. I'm pretty certain they're simply
reacting with the H rather than anything else.
I spent high school chemistry madly in love with a guy who gave me all
his notes and tests from the prior year, and the teacher didn't change
a single word of his tests. I didn't learn much from the chem class,
and the love affair was a wash-out too. Oh well.
