I think the idea of other Sirius Henna conferences is an excellent
one! The reason that Sirius Rising is on permanent offer is that Roy
organizes that festival and can put in whatever suits him. And ...
once you get there, the price is right, and Brushwood Folklore center
is lovely in the summer. Getting there, in the middle busy season ...
is indeed a problem!
Brushwood is available for meetups year round, and there is a
heatable, sleepable trailer, so a winter conference is NOT out of the
question! No hot tub and lolling about in the sunshine in NY in the
winter, but we'd get the big studio. We wouldn't have a vast array of
flesh to henna in the winter, either, or all the other classes and
concerts ... But, Brushwood's still not the most convenient place for
may people. If I have the $$ and time, I'd be very happy to go to
other conferences!
