Monica the kitchen witchPosted by Monica Tittle on June 6, 2001 at 21:12:41: Ok, so I got incredibly curious after the oil/black pepper discussionand decided that I just had to give this a try. I already had a cone of paste mixed up so I just experimented with the dabbing solution. I took about a quarter cup of the lemon sugar clove and honey mixture that I had been using to mix paste and threw in about five or six black peppercorns. I put this in the microwave and zapped it until it was just about to boil. This stuff smelled *really* spicy since I had simmered four or five cloves in the lemon juice before hand. The paste I used was mixed with Jamilla that I got Sept. of last year and had been in the freezer until I mixed it a couple of days ago and the l/s clove syrup. I did one of the Navneet designs on the back of my hand, dabbed it three or four times with the peppercorn l/s syrup. I also dipped the fingers on my right hand in it just for kicks. I steamed my hand a fingers a couple of times after they were dabbed. First, I don't think I'd use this on any clients who weren't *really* tough skinned because it stung a bit. But for myself I'm not using anything else. This stuff dyed very quickly. I took the past off of the dipped fingers just two hours after applying it and they looked like they had been steamed, wrapped and left on all night. The stain was *incredibly* dark right after removal. I taped up my hand wrapped in an ace bandage and left it on over night. When I took the paste off my hand it is just as dark as my fingers were when I took the paste off of them the night before. I'll let yall know how this effects the longevity of the stain. I'm also planning on using this solution to mix my next cone to see how that would do.
