By the way, thanks for the picture, it's gorgeous as usual! I just read an interesting book "Not Even My Name" by Thea Halo, about a Pontic Greek woman's efforts to delve into the holocaust her mother lived through in Turkey in the early part of ths century. Besides being a really good, heart-rending book, I found it interesting that she mentions several times in the book that the Pontic Greek women used henna to do their nails, which they gathered from the woods around them. I thought I might write the author to find out more, since every Turkish market that sold henna was selling Indian henna and I was told several times that henna doesn't grow in Turkey! (could be they were trying to get me to buy the Indian henna!)
