ahhh, CornwallPosted by jenaye (in BC) on June 15, 2001 at 16:06:12: In reply to: To the English Crew posted by Simon on June 13, 2001 at 02:14:55: Hi Simon, this is totally non henna related, but I read a book yearsago that was based in Cornwall and is sounds windy, wild and absolutely beautiful. I have been to the British Isles (and named 3 of my 4 kids with good British names!) but have yet to visit Cornwall (hopefully one day). Otherwise, I hope you're having a great start to your henna season. I'm slower this year, but only because I've started a new position at work and it's full time (as opposed to on call) so my time has been limited. Peace & henna, Jen : HI guys, : : Just a quickie. I've got a fete coming up, nothing major but I've got : some really nice new designs. The problem is they are quite big and : intricate therefore I was going to charge about £15 for them (if : anyone wants one is another problem). My quandry is that for the : smaller ones (for which I usually charge about £2) I dont bother : wrapping or anything, however if I am charging more obviously I want : to give the client the best possible stain. (They normaaly come out : really well but some, for whatever reason don't). Therefore my : question is, does anyone use wrapping or anything like new skin : (apparently the stuff over here isn't the same as that in the states) : or do you just leave it 'au natrel'. I tried using lemon sugar but it : seemed to drive the wasps crazy, which isn't such a good thing. : Hope someone can help. : : Cheers : : P.S. Hi Lynn, sorry I didn't say hello, only I've been stuck in the : wilds of cornwall where things like the internet are still viewed : with suspicion. Hope the season is kicking of nicely and your : hennaing up some treats.
