Wow! That's the best of all worlds! He was very friendly and explained the : process in depth, and even offered to give us both a free design : because he was not busy. : : I enquired about Mehndi and asked if he used henna paste for any of : his designs? His answer? ... : : "No, Mehndi is an art form" ... then he went into great detail : explaining the history & culture of Mehndi (and even a brief rant : about PPD), and how he was yet to come across a local Mehndi artist. : : After listening to him, we explained our real reason for visiting the : markets that day. He was very excited and began asking numorous : questions etc, and ended up booking an appointment for himself and : his wife. Apparently in the past, they travelled throughout the : world, and had many different designs, in many different countries, & : this had led to a shared passion of body adornment. : : That man made our day, what a refreshing change to meet someone else : who appreciates this art, as much as we do. His reaction surprised : us both, I suppose we expected him to try convince us to pay for one : of his airbrush tattoo's, & attempt to convince us that they are : better than henna etc etc ... : : Just had to share ... : : : : Regards : Anne & Kelly : Henna Moon : Australia : : :
