Hennotannic acid?

Dear Catherine and others,

I am interested in henna and specifically the active ingredients
in henna. You have mentioned "Hennotannic acid" several times on
your website and in the forum. I was wondering if you could tell me
where to find more information on this compound. I am looking into
using henna (and/or other temporary dyes) in a clinical setting and
so need fairly detailed information on the chemical properties of
it's active ingredients.
